Upon arrival, make the short transfer to your Las Vegas hotel and start experiencing the fun, attractions and atmosphere of the “Entertainment Capital of the World”. Aside from the tables and slots, the casinos have some amazing experiences, including gondola rides at the Venetian, zip lining at the Freemont Experience and enjoying the botanical gardens at the Bellagio. Don’t forget to check out the fountain show at the Bellagio and the Fashion Show Mall.

After collecting your hire car from downtown Las Vegas, head to the town of Springdale. Drive the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway or take the shuttle on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive and view the iconic red cliffs, forests, waterfalls and hanging gardens found in the area.

Depart for Bryce Canyon National Park, a sprawling reserve in Utah famed for its red and orange coloured ‘hoodoos’ - spire-shaped rock formations. The park’s main road leads past the most famous point of the canyon, Bryce Amphitheatre, a hoodoo-filled basin lying below the Rim Trail hiking path. It has overlooks at Sunrise Point, Sunset Point, Inspiration Point and Bryce Point. Though always magnificent, it is extra special at sunrise and sunset.

Located in south-central Utah and in the heart of red rock country, Capitol Reef National Park is a hidden treasure filled with cliffs, canyons, domes, and bridges in the “Waterpocket Fold” - a geologic monocline that extends almost 100 miles. The Cathedral Valley and Fremont Petroglyphs are stand out points of interest whilst visiting this beautiful and scenic park.

No visit to Moab is complete without visiting the extraordinary Arches National Park and nearby Canyonlands National Park. At Arches, drive to Delicate Arch Viewpoint and see the world’s most famous arch from a distance. Stop at Wolfe Ranch on your way back and imagine homesteading there in the late 1800s. Canyonlands National Park is known for its dramatic desert landscape carved by the Colorado River, and a famous location is the Island in the Sky - a huge, flat-topped mesa with panoramic viewpoints. Other notable areas include the towering rock pinnacles known as the Needles, the remote canyons of the Maze and the Native American rock paintings in Horseshoe Canyon.

Located on the Utah-Arizona border, Monument Valley is best known for its towering sandstone buttes. Monument Navajo Tribal Park was made famous by western movies and is one of the most photographed places in the USA. You can take a self-drive tour of the park but, to get the most out of your visit and to gain access to many more remote and off limit areas, we recommend taking a Navajo guide tour.

On your drive to Lake Powell, a stop at the Navajo National Monument is highly recommended. The National Monument is located within the northwest portion of the Navajo Nation territory in northern Arizona and was established to preserve three well-preserved cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Puebloan people. You can also visit the Glen Canyon Dam, smaller than the Hoover Dam but no less important, take a boat ride from the Marina at Lake Powell Resort, or take a tour of Antelope Canyon.

Today the South Rim of the Majestic Grand Canyon awaits. From the Grand Canyon Railway depot to the numerous sightseeing views and hikes, you will be constantly amazed. Take a walk on the Bright Angel or the Rim Trail, visit the Grand Canyon Imax Theatre or take a helicopter flight over the canyon from Grand Canyon Village.

Drive back to where your adventure started - Vegas! The route takes you over the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge that spans the Colorado River between the states of Arizona and Nevada and bypasses the Hoover Dam. Stop off in Boulder City for lunch at the historic Boulder Dam Hotel & Museum before arriving for your last evening in Las Vegas. Enjoy a show and a cocktail at the Skybar located on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, where the atmosphere and views are electric.

It is time to return your rental car before departing from Las Vegas for your homebound flight.
